Hey everybody who uses this site you may have noticed a lack in updates on gr screamer. We have began meetings to make this site better and have more regular updates. The meetings really have not had great success. So at this time I am stepping down from updating this site. I have many things going on in my life that I need to give my attention to. So do any of you punkers and thrashers want to take on this site and make it awesome? I would love to see it continue, but it’s time to pass it on. Until then please don’t send anything because it will not be updated until somebody takes it over.

Just had the first GR screamer meeting tonight and it was awesome! Some changes will be happening to this site. One being that we will only be promoting all ages non bar or club shows. This site is for the underground punk and hardcore community to have a voice so we want to focus on that. This was a collective decision. I have been so fucking busy as of late. As most of you may know I am part of the BarterTown collective, and head chef at BarterTown. I love it and it’s my life these days. I also love punk and am trying to keep my two bands going as well. So this site has suffered to say the least. I think this site is so important to the community of punk and hardcore. So this Sunday at BarterTown we will have the first open meeting about the future of this site. 8pm BarterTown Diner 6 Jefferson street S.E. in Grand Rapids.
